Inspired to search for a way to help my father following his cancer diagnosis in 1995, I embarked upon a journey to study the medicines and healing modalities of the world.
Although never my intention, the result is an approach to health and healing, labelled ‘Moativational Medicine’, which majors on the role our thoughts, stressors and emotions play in the onset and maintenance of illness, ailments and disease and, by default, in the creation, on-set and maintenance of wellness.
Watch a two-part, live television inteview, including an impromptu question from the presenter about her nagging back pain, my response to which brought the show to a rather abrupt conclusion - Part 1 Part 2
My personal research, study and results with clients confirms what Harvard Medical School reported in 2006, namely, that in the region of 85% of physical and mental illness is underpinned by negative emotional states.
See an explanation of the simple philosophy, art and science of this emotion-centred approach to treating illness and creating wellness.
Courses on the philosophy, art, science and practice of Moativational Medicine™ are available to health professionals and the general public; it is also possible to train as an Advocate in this approach – drop me a line if you’d like to receive the prospectus with the details of what’s involved.
